Prom One, Los Lunas

I hate those things with a passion. I can't even explain.

So this wasn't the first one I went to but it's the first one I'm gonna write about. I went with this boy from Los Lunas ward named Daniel Smith. I've gone on two other dates with him and IDK, I like him more as a friend but oh well anyway, I borrowed my friend, Kaylee's dress and it looked pretty awesome. Dorothy did my make up and hair and it looked amazing. When he came to pick me up he brought me a dozen roses :D It was so sweet. We went to eat at the Luna Mansion. OMGOODNESS!!! The food was absolutly amazing! I hope to take mom and dad there then Dorothy and I are going to get a group of people and dress up and go cuz it's so delicious! After we went to his house and his mom took pictures of us. Then we went to the dance :D it was so much fun. I got to hang out and dance with Daniel, Kessler, and Mateja. Sha was there...it was a little awkward but we didn't really talk so it was good. Then after we went to the movies and saw How To Train Your Drangon. I had already seen it so I didn't feel too bad when I fell asleep lol. It was a super fun dance. The theme was candy land! It was cool I got this little jar of candy.

Utah

It's been just a while. Christmas was awesome! I got 120 crayons! I got two books, window markers, and an mp3 player :D It was time to update from my old CD player. The whole family got the wii too it was amazing we were all playing and jamming out. Then we went up to Utah that monday and lemme tell ya I had a blast! We spent all Tuesday shopping at the mall. I got a new jacket and pair of jeans. They are soooo cute! I ran into my new mexico friend, Mateja, there. CRAZYNESS! Then I saw my old friend deven and hung out for a little. It was fun. Wednesday me and will chilled out and watched HEROS! Then we went to Lori's and visited her and her broken foot. We played the boys on her wii and had an amazin time. The next day we went sledding and i ended up going with my friends Sara bear and Lizzie lou to a party. holy cow i met some of the coolest ppl like duckie and Dekoda. We made so much noise at the new year and i called my friend and it was awesome! The next day I hung out with the family at grandmas , mostly Annika. We had an awesome time. :D

Thanksgiving+Black Friday+Dance!!!!

I love Thanksgiving. Mostly this year because I couldn't stand school anymore so it was mostly just for the break this year. But I also love the food oh yeah and the time to remember what I am thankful for lol. My mom made a TON of pie 9 or 10 I know Crazy! We don't ever go anywhere for Thanksgiving so it is nice just to sit at home and relax. We had some friends come over for dessert- we needed help to finish all the pie- and one person brought us some sugar cane stuff from Mexico anyways Burr was just trying to cut it and my dad told him to put the knives down but he didn't and guess what he cut his finger- it was bad! but he didn't cry Suprising.
I had never been shopping for Black Friday because my mom doesn't like it but I decided to go this year with Myka and her mom and sister. It was pretty fun I have got to say but I didn't have that much money to spend. Anyways we went to the mall there was more people than normal but it wasn't that crowded like the lines were long but it didn't seem like we waited that long to get to the cashier. We went to Toys R Us after that and a lot was sold out but the line was not bad at all I thought it was going to be way worse. The only really bad store we went to was Kohls the line wrapped around the whole store... we did not stay very long imagine that. Overall the experience was good we shopped all day we'll see if I want to do it next year.
So I had a dance later that night after shopping... Crazy i know but I got hyper and wanted to go I bought some crazy socks that went up to my knees and then rolled my pants up and wore my hair in a side pony tail and had a big Purple ribbon in my hair... I was very cool I would have to say lol.. there was not that many people at the dance but I had a good time anyways probably because I was so hyper and crazy.
I REALLY don't want to go back to school tomorrow... I hate it oh well I only have to wait untill Christmas now!!!!!!!

Utah

I guess me and Lela forgot to post about our Utah "vacation". It was not really a vacation because we had so much going on. We had to leave an extra day early because my Grandma Great's funeral was on Friday. My uncle got sealed on Saturday in the Salt Lake Temple. We took family pictures and we had dentist appointments. We also took a tour of BYU. I guess my parents really want me to go there or something! But in between all this there was a little bit of fun! We surprised everybody in our old ward showing up unannounced and all. We went to a skating rink on Monday for Pony Express Family night- Our old neighbors all showed up. We went to a flag football game. We played Cards OF COURSE! Visited Family, I went to a friends sisters wedding, watched the BYU TCU game(Bummer), and never really got to sleep in. It was a really busy week and a half and on top of all that I had to take 3 test and I had a lot of homework and i still had makeup homework when I got home. While I was gone I had fun but I missed school- surprising- not the school work just being with my friends really and I missed my own ward. I didn't take any pictures because I forgot my camera but the drive up there was really pretty because we went through the mountains in Colorado while the trees were changing colors. I am glad to be home now but I am already sick of school again and I have only been back for one week... one really long week. I miss my little baby cousins.

HALLOWEEN

I really don't like halloween, it is a stupid "holiday". I don't mind seeing how everybody dresses up but I will not dress up. I don't understand why people get so into it. I don't like scary things either so that does not help.

Halloween+Dorothy=BAD!!!!!!!!

I have decided that when I am older I will not celebrate Halloween really I will just have a Breast Cancer Awareness Party... maybe not it just seems like a better idea to me... I don't know how many people would even show up to that LOL

Oct. 14

yeah oct. 14th is my b day. its also the day of the PSAT and my ortho appt and i have to be packed for our trip to utah. :/ i have a feeling this year isnt gonna be very fun

Ditch Day

just thought id throw in these pics for fun lol

so i just didnt get up for school. last night i decided i wanted to go to the fair today but mom said it wasn't safe enough to go wit just me and my friend who is also 16 so we didnt go. but i did go to my moms eye appt and helped (well tired to help) her pick out some fashionable glasses. she picked what she wanted ne ways. but i found out i look good in glasses!!! we r gonna find some sunglasses that look like that for me :D then after we went to the mall so i could get a new purse and wallet. i accidently left my purse at an assembly :( yeah not good. so today i went to get new ones cuz someone took my old ones. the thing about finding the purse that fits u is that...well u have to kinda be a purse person. i dont like purses. i think they are weird and a pain in the butt to carry around lol. but i did get a pretty cool wallet :D

just so ya know....

just so u know i got a B in english!!!!! now a B may not seem that impressive but to me it is seeing as i didnt get ne of the summer projects completely finished. i actually raised my D to a B on the last day. i got skill. it was crazy. i was doing work to the last min. ne ways just thought id let u know. oh and we won our homecoming game!!!! 20 to nothin!! i got in trouble though. they kept tellin me that i needed to calm down and back up off the line.

All about Will's LIfe

Hey, William wants to tell everybody about his life because he feels left out of the sibiling love so here he is!

So last week I was downtown and I was in this elevator with this like hispanic family and there was this little boy pushing all the buttons and like screaming in this really high shrill voice
"A LALA BUMBA!!!" while his mother was trying to take care of this little brother who is in the stroller crying. and it was 5 min of this screaming and yelling that made me want to shoot myself until the mother turned her attention to this like 7 year old kid and just yells at him "Jose, if you press one more button then I will beat you all up and down!" so who can resist a little chuckle at such a sight. And at this point the little 7 year old kid turns around and whispers to me "Laugh it up Fuzzy!" WHAT! are you kidding me so i start like making these faces at him like what what are you gonna do about it cause you know I am not about to be made fun of by this little kid. His response was to turn to me and says "Make your move ese" and so I wait for his mom to go back to messing with the little kid and I got up in his face acting like i was gonna like mess with him or "Make my move" then I just push one of the elevator buttons and turn around and this big hispanic woman spins around and screams "Jose what did I tell you?" And he just starts yelling "It wasn't me, It wasn't me" as she grabs him by the wrist ripping him out of the elevator. LOL I am totally worried about Karma now.

k so basically i have some pics from when this family came and visited us. Paula is a sweet little girl. she loves to watch princess movies and wrestling. then i went to a ton of soccer games. Sha was in 3 of them but i took pictures for yearbook for the 3 of valencia games. but i took pictures at a los lunas game ne ways. the officals kept pushing me back from the line so must of the pics suck :/ ne ways here they are

Addictions

CLOTHES! I Love going to the mall because I love buying new clothes! My mom does not usually buy me the clothes I like so I buy my own clothes. Everytime I go to the mall with William I spend too much money then feel guilty because I just spent all my babysitting money! Good thing it was tax free weekend this Saturday or else I would have bought a lot more but I am too impatient to wait in line so I didn't try anything on or buy a whole lot just 3 shirts! My goal was to get more color into my wardrobe because I wear a lot of gray so I bought a purple shirt, a green flower shirt, and a blue sweater type shirt.

FOOD! Ask Myka, everytime we see each other or talk we are usually eating! Now I don't like spending money on food because it is not something I can keep because you buy it, eat it, and then it is gone so I try to not buy a whole bunch a food but I can't help my hunger! On our way home from the mall we stopped at McDonalds so that we could get some chicken nuggets and drinks! Bad mistake we got 50 chicken nuggets and Large Milkshakes with Fries! Oh man was it filling but gross at the same time!

A Day at the Zoo/Cliff's

So on Thursday Myka and I decided that we wanted to go to Cliff's with some friends! We had been planning on going Friday but then found out that on Thursday there was some friends going! Myka's family was going to the zoo that morning and so I went with them. We imitated the animals including some ugly fishes that were hungray! They were very ugly! We only stayed for almost 2 hours because then we went to Cliff's! It was my very first time going to Cliff's because my family does not do amusement parks! I freaked my self out on one ride and could not do it so I ran off but then my friends made me ride on it and it was not very scary I don't know why I freaked out! I rode all the other rides just fine. On one of our very last rides that we were going to do for the day my friend threw up! I felt really bad because he told me he was going to but i thought he was joking so I told him not on me and then all of the sudden he threw up but it didn't get on me! Our day was pretty much over after that we got some snacks and then just sat and talked for a couple of minutes until the park closed! I don't think my dad was wanting me to go very much because when he dropped me off at Myka's he told me " Dorothy, there are some strange people out there who will take your money and that is not all they will take" I guess he just wanted me to be careful! Don't worry nobody stole my money! Lela told me "Remember who you are and what I stand for" I don't know why they were so scared for me I went with a nice family! So anyways Myka and I wanted to go to Chili's for dinner but her dad would not let her go so I went home and got ready to go play basketball! It was a very full day! Then on Friday I had to wake up early to find out that I didn't have to babysit so I went back to bed and then Lela woke me up and she wanted me to do her hair! I was not too happy! Sorry I don't have any pictures I always forget to take my camera with me!

A FULL Week!

So this last week me and Lela took finals YES we are done! and there was youth conference and i stayed with Myka while her parents were out of town! Where to start I went over to Myka's house on Tuesday and then we went to Megan's house cuz it was her sweet sixteen but first we had to buy her a gift so we went shopping and bought her a whole bunch of nothing usefull. LOL it was pretty funny but we went over to her house walked around the ditches at midnight came to my house to get movies and went back over to Megan's to watch movies! This whole time I never even thought to get my camera out so Myka has pictures on her blog! HAPPY 16 MEGAN!! I luv ya!
YOUTH CONFERENCE
Youth conference started on Thursday after FINALS and so Me and Myka went to go register but then like all the youth from our ward went to a star ball thing up in albs so me and myka decided to ditch the dance a little bit early and we went to go buy silly string and window marker cuz we wanted to go get somebody's house. But then we thought it would be too mean so we bought her a present so she would not be so mad and that took us all night coming up with cute little phrases to put on every thing one of my favorite was on the deoderant we said "Don't Sweat it we've got you covered". So we stayed up late doing that so we didn't have enough time to go give the present to her.

Friday morning was registration for school! We went up there at nine and got all our papers and everything signed so we could get our schedule but then me and Lela needed her schedule fixed so we waited for the counsler for over 2 hours! So not worth it but now i don't have to read books for my ap english class cuz i got out of it YES! Then I went back to youth conference and went to some classes that were so fun and then left to go feed Myka's animals and to go toilet paper and silly string Abby's house but it was pouring rain and I know that it was carma bitting back cuz we were ditching out on youth conference! And then me and Myka wanted a Frutista Freeze from Taco Bell so we stopped by there (The drinks were SO good) and then headed back to the church but we had missed dinner so we had to get something out of the kitchen to eat and we missed out on more of youth conference. Then the dance started and it was sooo fun we danced so much. It was such a great day until we started driving home in Myka's Truck! First there was a DWI check point and we could not find the updated registration or insurance so they made us pull over so we finally found the registration but not the insurace but they just let us go and then not even two minutes later myka's truck started acting wierd so we pulled over and her truck battery died. It died right off of a scary curve and the lights weren't working so we could not put on the hazards. Two men from church came overe to help us and then Myka's brother in law came and they switched out batteries and then we went back to Myka's and her truck died in the driveway right as we pulled up. Then we were scared to go inside the house all by our selves so we stayed out side for a little and then finally got enough courage to go inside. We finally got to bed around two!

Saturday was testimony meeting and we ended youth conference! SAD :( And then Myka's parents came home (good thing we cleaned the house up)! Then i went out on the Go Kart and drove my little brothers around!

All in all it was a fun week kinda long but FUN! Sorry there is no pictures I never think to take any!

so in case you didnt guess its masons birthday. mason is my cousin. he is 7!!! its so weird to think that he is getting baptized next year...i remember when he was his sisters age! ne ways i called mason today -what a cutie! ne ways he was talking to me and asked oh are you coming to my house?! it broke my heart i was like no...i cant...im in new mexico. and he assured me that its was ok everyone was ok lol he is sooo sweet!! he told me all about his balloons and the 2 purple ones and the red one and a yellow one and his multi colored cake :D he was sooo sweet!! he said it was so good he couldnt stop eating it :D awwww i love him!!!

UTAH!

As most of you know we went to Utah for the 4th of July (I know I am a little late posting about it but better late than never i guess)! We only got to stay up there form Friday to Monday because of STUPID Chemistry! Oh well it was still fun. We had a family reunion type thing that we have been doing for the past couple of years. My aunt Lori does a great job planning them. This year it was TEXAS SIZED theme. So the next couple of pictures will be from the 3rd Annual Chamberlain Family Reunion with some golfing involved. We played Human sized Foosball.And some Lawn Bowling: Kaylene was the winner!

Our reunion was on the 3rd so on the 4th we did some of our own fireworks and we got to watch all the fireworks from Provo to Thanksgiving Point and everywhere in between.

On our way home we went and saw my Great Uncle Burgess! He is so hilarious! He is my Grandma Greats brother and they match each others personalities they tell stories of when they would cause a ton of trouble and everything but now Burgess is known as the candy man! He is a pretty cool guy he is 80 and still has his liscense and takes care of his wife in their own house!

random info and everyday stuff

I can't wait!!! i soooo wanna see everyone again and take a break from my chem class :( not so much fun after the second day ;D no but really its hard and i dont understand like nething nemore. but the other day on the campus i saw.....*drum roll*........cesar! i havent seen him since a mid summer nights dream! he looks a lil different...idk neways it was awesome we talked for a good while while dorothy was on the phone (awkward wording....oh well) but yeah he is taking a ton of classes! like german, art, english, and some science! crazy person he is awesome though i hope i see him again tomorrow that would be nice :D neways im so excited to get away from my house so i can stop thinking about my class :D i hope this weekend will be a nice break from everything :D

Valencia Ward Idol!

The other night our ward had a potluck/Kareoke night. It was pretty fun there was a lot of good food (my personal fav.). And a lot of people showed up! Our ward is pretty interesting, A WIDE variety of talents lets just leave it at that. There was a lot of songs to pick from, which was a little overwhelming, but it was nice to have a variety. Reddick brought his friend Quinn. They are sooo goofy together one minute they will be fighting and the next you won't be able to seperate them. Anyways Quinn sang B-I-N-G-O with Lela it was some funny stuff! And out of all the songs Reddick chose Teardrops on my Gutair by Taylor Swift. He didn't even know all the words so I felt bad and went up and helped him out! I didn't really sing into the microphone I just sang into his ear kinda to give him the tune.

Lela got out of paying me back $1.50 because she sang but she had some help so I don't think it counts but she is determined not to pay me back oh well! She is a pretty good singer!

William sang Your Song by Elton John for my mom and dad. He sang surprisingly well. He won best male vocals or something like that.
